Christmas Day

Christmas is the Annual festival to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, which is observed on December 25, every year. It is a federal Holiday.

The name Christmas comes from the Mass of Christ. People celebrating Christmas attend a Special Mass Ceremony on the night of Christmas Eve. This midnight church mass is very special that this is the only mass that is allowed after the sunset.

Houses are decorated with Christmas Trees with small ornaments and glowing lights on it. There will be massive Christmas trees at public places and malls.

On the day of Christmas gifts are given to Children, Friends and Employees. Gift giving is very common that most stores experience a significant increase in the sale during Christmas. In the United States people prepare turkey roast with vegetables, bake cookies and candies along with any other special dishes at home on the day of Christmas.
